Backpackers Pantry

In this business since 1951, Backpacker’s Pantry has certainly carved a space for itself. This business continues to remain family owned, and takes pride in doing its bit for the environment (part of the proceeds from each sale are diverted to organizations working in the field of nature preservation).

The American Institute of Baking (AIB) has rated their facilities as ‘excellent’, and their meat/chicken products are subject to everyday USDA inspections, so safety is definitely not a concern.

The shelf lives of their products range from 1.5 to 3 years (different for different products). In addition, these products do NOT contain artificial colors, dyes, or MSG.
